The Flinn Scholars Program will host a series of informational meetings for Arizona high-school students from late March through early April. The sessions, in Tucson, Flagstaff, Phoenix, and Tempe, will discuss the 2011 scholarship.
Current Flinn Scholars will be on hand to answer questions and discuss their experiences in the program, and representatives of all three Arizona public universities' honors colleges and/or admissions offices will be available, making each evening a one-stop shop for university and scholarship information.
These meetings are especially important for high-school students who will graduate in spring 2011, but are open to high-school sophomores and freshmen as well. The application itself, for students who will complete high school in spring/summer 2011, will be available online in late August, 2010.
Attendance is not required in order to apply for the scholarship, but is strongly encouraged.
Reservations are necessary only for the Phoenix sessions.
